Lessons Learned on the Golf Course.

https://www.bism.org/golfregistration

Business is all around us no matter what we do. That's how it is and always will be in our world since we are dominated by huge corporations. But have we really thought about how business and golf are actually connected when making deals? Most people know golf is major in the business world but is golf actually a good indication of a person's character? From an article by Lou Dubois, a writer and editor for NBC news, discusses how people operate on the golf course and how this really relates to their character off the golf course. Most people play golf for hours which can help look into their life without them even understanding the depth of the game. Brad Brewer, a PGA professional stated, "You observe over a period of time the habits of the individual. You see their integrity, their mannerisms, how they approach different situations, how they deal with success and failure. But in the end, I think the beauty of being able to create a relationship with somebody and bond with them for four or five hours is very valuable—I don't know that there's another place that you have the capability of doing that" (Dubois para 2). The quote from Brad Brewer shows how golf is used as an accurate indicator of someone's character off the golf course.

From this article, it shows how the meaning of such a very relaxed sport actually can show the bigger picture. If you want to have success in the business world, you better be sure you are familiar of the rules of golf. I definitely will want to brush up on my golf skills for future references.

Prompt 9: Evaluating Sources.

http://uwlowcountry.org/small-biz/

Business is all about who you know and the connections you make throughout your journey called "life". Most men and women who are successful in the business world are successful because of the connections they have made to achieve their wealth. From an article by Mario Rese, a professor in marketing at a university in Germany, he argues why and how you should select your business partners.  Business is all competition. Who can sell the most of any good or service is what makes a business thrive more than any other. Rese states, "We are experiencing increasing competition between standards and the successful implementation of such standards determines market success." (para 1
)  which shows how technology is really doing the bidding for partnerships. If you have an Apple iPhone 7,  for example, and let's say you upgrade to IOS 10 which is only compatible with apple products, you are more likely to buy an Apple Macbook to continue using IOS 1O. We strengthen this competitiveness within business partnerships and I'm positive we don't even know it.

The article does an excellent job discussing how important it is to have a business partnership and how we, consumers, strengthen this partnership. You definitely have to agree with every point made since we are more likely to stick with one brand of products due to compatibility of these products. Imagine if we could use Android's software on an iPhone or vice versa. There would really be no competition in the business world which benefits no one in the long run.

It had written when phoenix TV anchor zen limo "ink" in the plot, such as to relentless without pitch book logic to angry and helpless. The relationship between entrepreneurship and innovation

The essence of entrepreneurship is to grasp the opportunity, creative resources integration, innovation and quick action. So the essence of entrepreneurship is innovation. Innovation is the soul of business. There is a close inner link between these two.

Narrow sense of entrepreneurship is a economics category, which is refers to the subject in order to create value and employment opportunities for the purpose. By forming a set of enterprise organization form to provide products and services for society economic activity. The business requirement for innovation is not high. More emphasis on economic activity is organized.
Innovation is the new thinking, new inventions and new described as a conceptual process characteristic. Latin origin, meaning it has three meanings. First, the update. Second, creating something new. Third, change. As long as it is business, there is a process from scratch. So innovation is the foundation of entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurial drive the innovation.

Finance major's employment situation in the United States

Now all the financial problems have digital and quantitative. Many courses to learn a lot of mathematical and statistical methods. It is recommended that is sensitive to digital, and mathematical skills are good for students to learn finance. Otherwise, it may learn more demanding.

Finance mainly study and research in the United States financial markets, including stocks, bonds, derivatives and corporate finance (machine structure, the acquisition of capital) and so on. While the so-called international financial more belongs to economics. The undergraduates in the United States than graduate students is relatively easy to find a job. Because general from domestic have little work experience. Master's degree in the United States cannot compete with the MBA to MBA level position. The position usually need a certain working experience, even have management experience. But read a degree graduate students than undergraduates. So the basic salary will be higher accordingly. When many companies only need to recruit undergraduate position, usually are not willing to pay the graduate level of salary. Unless students have very strong mathematical statistics, modeling capabilities.

Prompt 7: Comparing Delivery and Style.

sexgenderandsociety2016.wordpress.com/2016/04/07/manhood-and-the-glass-escalator/

Gender stereotypes will always be prevalent in today's society. From a blog discussing gender stereotypes in the business world, Richard Feloni, an author covering business management on BusinessInsider, discusses some of the common stereotypes of women in the business world. He talks about how women will be more prone to quit their job due to them having kids and how they are more likely to be judge when they voice their opinion. From this blog, it shows how women will always have a hard time and it's organized quite effectively. The blog is very straight forward and has bold lettering for each common stereotype.

A scholarly article from authors, Gary Powell, Anthony Butterfield, and Jane Parent, professionals in business at universities in the East Coast, also discuss gender stereotypes in the business world associated with gender. They talk about how women are more gentle and supportive while men are more assertive and competitive.  From the article, it shows gender stereotypes are still common in today's society. The article is more research based due to them actually performing an experiment and drawing conclusions from their research. The article is very research intensive with many sources and is very long.

From these two articles, which are we more likely to trust?

Since the blog has less information and is very straight forward, we are more likely to trust the blog more than the article. In today's society, most people are very lazy and want the information just spoon-fed to them instead of digging through pages of research to find one statistic. It's just how we are in today's society. Not enough time or we're purely just too lazy to do some research. If only we wanted to take the time to dig in, we would be better off as a society.

Prompt 6: Recognizing Significance.

Finance is the process of creating, moving and using money, enabling the flow of money through a company in much the same way it facilitates global money flow. Money is created by the sales force when they sell the goods or services the company produces; it then flows into production where it is spent to manufacture more products to sell. What remains is used to pay salaries and fund the administrative expenses of the company.

When some element of the finance process breaks down companies go out of business and the economy moves into recession. For example: If a major bank loses a significant amount of money and faces the risk of insolvency, other banks and corporate customers will stop lending or depositing money to the problem bank. It will then stop lending to its customers and they will not be able to purchase the goods or pay the bills for which they were seeking funding. The flow of money throughout the financial system slows down or stops as a result.

All facets of the global economy depend upon an orderly process of finance. Capital markets provide the money to support business, and business provides the money to support individuals. Income taxes support federal, state and local governments. Even the arts benefit from the financial process because they draw their money from corporate sponsors and individual patrons. Capital markets create money, businesses distribute it, and individuals and institutions spend it.
